Lake Orion Students Pray
Last week, over 20 LOHS students gathered together early one morning to pray for their school and community at the annual “See You At The Pole” prayer event. “It was great, with singing and everything!” said one participant. Praise God for our students coming out boldly to pray together. If you have any news about the school in your community, please write a note about your experience in the "Post a comment" page (link below).
St. Joe's and KCC ConnectingStaff and leaders from St. Joseph Catholic Churchand Kensington met recently to discuss how to best build up God's kingdom all across the region. As a result, KCC was extended an official invitation to participate in the Lake Orion/Oxford Minister's Association (OOMA). This group works together to serve the needs of the local community. One example of a coordinated project is LOVE, Inc (Love In The Name of Christ). Check out their website by clicking on their logo to the left ...
Fall PlantingSince our September team meeting, we’ve heard many stories about stakes being driven into the ground across our area. Here’s one example. A woman named Claudia invited some Kensington friends to "prayer walk" her neighborhood. While out, they had an opportunity to pray for the woman across the street who has been trying to sell her home. At the end of the walk, they put a stake (with 2 Chr 7:14 on it) in the wood chips at the sub entrance and claimed the neighborhood for Jesus Christ. The next day a man out for a walk stopped the husband of that woman across the street, "randomly" asking if he could pray for him. The neighbor responded, "Sure!" .... “Did Claudia send you?” Already God is moving!
