Kensington Rallies to Beat Financials!

(JUN 9 - LAKE ORION) The mighty Kensington Youth Baseball squad rolled over the Invest Wise Financial team on Tuesday night at Freindship Park with an exciting 11-7 victory.  Backed by strong hitting, aggressive base running and great defense (featuring several rally-breaking double plays!), the win moved the boys into a TIE for FIRST PLACE in the Intermediate Division of the Lake Orion League.  Manager John O'Connor commented "I am so proud of these young men, they played a fantastic game against a tough team".  "These guys are GOOD!" added Sue Kinch, Kensington Lake Orion Ministry Coordinator, seen at the game with several other community families from the recently opened local Kensington Church campus. With only three games remaining this season, the team has hopes of capturing first place in the division ... quite an accomplishment for a group playing under the "Kensington" name in Lake Orion for the first time ever!

The team invites all of you to come out and cheer them on to victory in any or all of upcoming games remaining:

Saturday, June 13 at 9:00am, at the GM 1 Athletic Fields, 610 W. Silverbell Rd
Thursday, June 16 at 6:30pm, at Friendship Park, Clarkston Rd & Baldwin Rd
Saturday, June 20 at 9:00, also at the GM 1 Athletic Fields
